Who We Are

History: The Homes For All committee is seeking sponsors for the new Kitsap Tiny Cottage Village for low income or homeless residents of Kitsap County. Over the next few weeks organizations, service clubs and churches will be partnering together to build the collection of tiny houses and the community buildings supporting the village. If you would like to participate in the funding and construction of a tiny cottage that Kitsap County has designed, please volunteer.

Each Tiny Cottage kit is estimated to cost around $2,000.00. We have construction plans, step by step instructions and local lumber yard material lists with estimates. Your club or organization could build one yourself for the proposed village. Builders and volunteers will be needed on the Day of Caring to construct one of these prototype tiny cottages for the village.

This village will provide transitional housing for homeless residents who have applied for assistance through the Housing Solutions Center in Kitsap County. All applicants placed in the village will be provided case management through a reputable social service agency with the goal for all residents to achieve eventual permanent housing and independence in our community.

This village will be a "gated community" with a gate house providing security for all residents and visitors to the village. We need our community to partner with us to make this new community a reality.
